THEORY & STRUCTURE

The turbine flowmeter is a kind of velocity type flowmeter. As shown below, put a turbine in the middle of pipe, supported by bearing at both ends, when the fluid through the pipeline, to shock the turbine blade, it has driving torque of turbine, the turbine will rotate through to overcome the friction torque and the fluid resistance . In a certain range of flow rate, fluid viscosity determined, turbine rotating angular velocity and the fluid velocity is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid. so flow rate can be obtained by rotating speed turbine rotating speed turbine, which can calculate the fluid flow through a pipe.

The turbine speed is detected through the sensing coil is arranged in the out of shell. When the turbine blade cutting by the shell permanent magnet magnetic lines of force, Will cause the change in magnetic flux sensor coil. signal sensing send the changed signal to preamplifier which is measured Flux cycle ,the signal amplification, shaping, produce the pulse signal which is proportation to the velcoity,it send to unit conversion and Flow totalizer circuit and then to get and display the flow accumulation value;at the same time also send the pulse signal into the frequency Current conversion circuit, put the pulse signal into an analog current amount, and then indicates the instantaneous flow value.
